Miniature American Shepherd

They look like Australian shepherds but are California born and bred. Miniature American shepherds are true herding dogs that will tend to corral small animals and kids, so training is essential. 

They are energetic, extremely bright, loyal to their owners, but wary of strangers, especially on their territory.
