Our Dog Mia is grieving the loss of my husband who died suddenly last week.

Our Dog Mia is grieving the loss of my husband who died suddenly last week. She is very old and frail. My husband loved her with all his heart. Although she has dementia she knows enough to know the one that loved her and cared for her is gone. Her eyes and hearing is not good . It is pitiful to watch. Our other dachshund died a few years ago she was more bonded to Me. Mia and my husband were inseparable. She was clearly his dog she loved him the most. I put my husband's sweater in a pillow case with his scent on it . I hold her and give as much love as I can . She is so sad.
